Since its establishment, Fuyao has been in line with the policy of “To Take Lowest Cost to Manufacture Quality Products Satisfying Society and Users” to constantly improve the quality management.
Fuyao Group attaches much importance to the internal quality management system and has introduced many advanced management technologies including the all-round quality management. Fuyao is the earliest company that introduced itself into the international Quality. In October 1995, Fuyao Group passed ISO9002 Quality certification making Fuyao’s products furnished with the international market entry permit.
Although ISO9002 Quality is applicable industry wide, automobile manufacturers always have their own internal quality standards on some key auto parts. Therefore, the U.S Top3 automobile glass manufacturers—GM, FORD and CHRYSLER jointly stipulated QS9000 Quality, and Volkswagan worked out VDA6.1 Quality according its own requirements. As China’s largest automobile glass manufacturer with the most advanced production technologies and management experience, Fuyao is among the first batch of companies which passed such certifications. In may 1998, Fuyao passed the examination conducted by SGS and was granted the Certificate of Conformity of QS9000 Quality. In January 2001, Fuyao passed VDA601 Quality appraisal with the Certificate of Conformity.
In view of such fact that different quality standards exist in the automobile industry, the original QS9000 and VDA6.1 work team; together with the experienced experts from France, Japan and other countries; stipulated TS16949 Standards on the principle “Seeking Common Ground while Reserving Difference”. From January 2003, Fuyao Group began to establish a brand-new quality management system based on the requirements stipulated in TS16949. In January 2004, Fuyao Group passed the examination conducted by UTAC without pre-certification and was granted the Certificate of Conformity of TS16949 (2002) Quality.
Fuyao Group put itself out the way to pursue the quality and passed all certifications one after the other. Each certification marked a jump of Fuyao to a higher quality management level. In such interactive process, Fuyao is always able to provide customers with satisfying products in spite of the increasing requirements for quality.
